Morris E. Brant

Morris E. Brant, age 67, passed away Thursday August 4, 2016 at Wheaton Franciscan-All Saints Medical Center. Morris was born in Swanton, MD on March 30, 1949, son of the late John and Cecelia (nee: Friend) Brant.

Following graduation, Morris proudly served in the U.S. Navy and was stationed at Great Lakes Naval Base in Illinois. He then relocated to Racine and was last employed with Bucyrus Erie. On January 9, 1981, he was united in marriage to Barbara J. Greer.

Morris will be dearly missed by his loving wife of thirty-five years, Barbara; sister, Shirley Wilburn of Deep Creek Lake, MD; brother, John (Virginia) Brant of Deep River, CT; sisters-in-law, Kristine Thiery of Racine, Katie (Bob) Montgomery of Madison; special niece and nephew, Valerie and Jay; other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to his parents. Morris was also preceded in death by a special aunt and uncle, Eva and Don Bowser; special niece, Tawnya, and father-in-law, Jacob Greer.

Private services and interment will be held in Maryland.
