Monica Quadracci, 26, received her wings to heaven from God on August 25, 2015. Monica was born in Racine, WI on April 13, 1989 to Janice M. Furst and Timothy F. Quadracci.
Monica had great strength with the challenges life presented her. She was our trooper.
She will be dearly missed by her mother, Janice M. Furst, father, Timothy (Judy) Quadracci, sister Christine (Mike) Melbye, nephew, Eric Melbye and niece Claire Melbye, step-sisters Tawny (Scott) Brooks and Tracy (Terrence) Trammell.
Monica is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Monica was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Richard (Lori) Furst, paternal grandmother, Helen Quadracci and Uncle Jerome J Furst, MD.
Monica joins her best friend Connie Picazo, in heaven, who cared for her for 17 years.
We are eternally grateful to the wonderful care and compassion Monica received from her nurses who cared for her daily: Meri Stougaard, Rose Putrow, Cathy Anderson, Lora Peterson, Beth Blimling, Leslie Breidenbach and Sheri King. You have been such a blessing to all of us. Special thanks to Wheaton Franciscan Home, Health and Hospice. In addition, we would like to thank Dr. Mike Farrell, Aurora Health Care, for all his care he provided to Monica for many years and was available for us at any time.
Private funeral services were held.
