Mona E. Olds

Mona Olds (Haan) aged 100, went to meet with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 5, 2016. Greeting her was her beloved husband, Charles, her daughter, Bonnie VanLoo and her grandson, Joshua John Olds, as well as numerous other family and friends. She is survived by her children, Chuck (Pat) Olds, Jerry Olds, Connie (Stuart) Lanting, Richard Olds, Donald Olds, Barbara Huissen; 18 grandchildren; many great and great great grandchildren; her brother, Ken Haan, her sister, Geraldine Hoezee; special friends, John Bartell, Marilyn Domenica, Barb Strick, Mark Raymond; many other cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Mona was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother who will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. A service to celebrate Mona’s life will be held on Friday, August 12 at 2:00 PM at City View Church, 960 Alpine Ave. NW. Burial in Washington Park Cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be made to City View Church. Relatives and friends may meet her family at the church on Friday from 1:00 PM until the service begins at 2:00 PM.
