Mildred Groner

Died Thursday afternoon October 25, 2018. Mildred was born December 5, 1924 in Atlanta, Michigan a daughter of Grover and Beulah (Shepard) Winters. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was a member of Northeastern Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond A. Groner on February 18, 1998; a son, Terry Groner in 2013; son-in-law, Thomas Mezon in 2006; and 3 brothers, Gerald Winters in 1991, Charles Winters in 1986, and Robert Winters in 2014. Mildred is survived by 4 children, Nancy (Jerrold) Brown of Fulton, Linda Mezon of Toronto, Canada, Brian (Teresa Fream) Groner of Glenwood, IL, and Susan (Rodney) Henderson of Fulton; a daughter-in-law, Janis Groner of Nashville, MI, 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 11 o'clock Tuesday at Northeastern Baptist Church, 6536 East G Ave. Visitation will be 4-7pm Monday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St. and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Northeastern Baptist Church or Southern Care Hospice.
