Michelle C. Viera

With her loving family by her side, Michelle C. Viera, age 56, passed away Monday, December 19, 2016 at her home. Michelle was born in Racine, June 1, 1960, daughter of Roger and Donna (Nee: Pfeilstifter) LaVassor.

Michelle was employed as a waitress in various restaurants in Racine including Andreas, Athens, Odyssey, Golden Keys, and was last working at the Racine Journal Times in the Distribution Center. Above all she was a devoted and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and niece who treasured her time with her family.

She will be dearly missed by her husband, Jose; her three children, Benjamin, Nicholas, and Emilee; her mother, Donna; brothers, Robert, Chris (Caroline), Eric (Robin); special Aunt, Kathy Sayles; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Roger LaVassor.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 23, 2016, 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Laura Fladten officiating. Private interment will be held at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until time of service at 6:00 P.M. Memorials to the family have been suggested.
