Michael "Mike" Anthony Rebone, 57, of Traverse City, passed away, Monday morning, December 21, 2015 with his loving family by his side. Mike will be so missed by many; he touched many lives.

Mike was born on January 3, 1958 at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He is the son of Thomas and Joann (White) Rebone.

Mike graduated from Kalkaska High School. His cooking career began in the Army and continued through the years. Mike was a cook at the Interlochen Arts Academy, the first cook at Jonathan B Pub and the French Manor. He leaves behind a legacy of love and tenderness. While working at French Manor he often would sit with a dying person until family arrived.

He was member of the New Hope Community Church and the Interlochen VFW Post #7493.

Mike was a lover of sports; win or lose he loved his Lions and Tigers. He bowled, coached and played softball. He was the guy you saw every Labor Day for the past 12 years selling hotdogs at Ric's corners to raise money for the local veterans.

Mike is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Smith) Rebone of Buckley; son, Andrew Rebone of Traverse City; mother, Joanne Rebone of Kingsley; siblings, Dorothy (David) Weber of Kingsley, Tara Gard of Clarksville, TN, Mary (Dan) Streeter, of Ashford, AL and brother, Jerry (Christina) Rebone of Greenwich, RI; many nieces, nephews and step-children, Larry (Bobbie) Gates, Kathy (Scott) Minnis and Mandy Gates.

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Rebone.

Cremation has taken place Memorial Services will be held 12 noon, Saturday, January 2, 2015 at the Life Story Funeral Home, Traverse City; where the family will greet friend starting at 10am.
