Michael Connor

Michael J. Connor, age 55, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away suddenly and tragically on December 14, 2016. He leaves behind his wife of nearly thirty years, Laurie (Ledbetter) and two daughters, Taylor (24) and Mallory (23). He is also survived by his mother, Beverly Connor; father, Jack Connor; step-mother, Martha Connor; brothers, Scott (Teri) Connor, Doug Connor, Pat Connor; sister Kathy Connor; father and mother in-law, Doug and Judy Ledbetter; sister-in-law Theresa (Ronald) Winchester; brother-in-law Matt (Nicole) Ledbetter; in addition several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, whom Michael loved dearly. As Michael was a prominent member of the community, the family would like to continue his legacy to inspire children and provide them with opportunities for growth. In lieu of flowers, the Connor Family has requested that donations be made to Comstock Green Meadow Elementary. A Celebration of Michael's Life will be held at 5:00 PM on Thursday, December 22 at Kalamazoo Community Church, 2435 N. 26th Street, followed by a gathering of family and friends at the church. Arrangements were entrusted to Langeland Family Funeral Homes.
