Michael Curtis Chambers, age 18, passed away due to head trauma following a car accident. Michael was born October 6, 2000, to Jason and Jennifer Chambers at the Naval Hospital in Bremerton, Washington. Michael was a senior at Fremont High School where he was a member of the tennis team, the Quiz Bowl team, and threw shot and discus for track and field, and also attended the Criminal Justice and Certified Nursing Assistant programs at NCRESA Career Tech Center. He was a Private in the Michigan Volunteer Defense Force (MIVDF) where he was working on becoming Amateur Radio qualified. He had plans to hike the North Country Trail, and Appalachian Trail. He loved hiking, camping, the outdoors, working at Fremont Cinemas, and cooking for his girlfriend Hanna. He was in the Delayed Entry Program in the United States Navy after high school graduation, with plans of becoming a flight nurse/paramedic with AeroMed. He is survived by his father Jason, mother Jennifer, sisters Amelia Headrick (Aaron) and Dana Chambers, grandmother Phyllis, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and loved ones across the country.

A graveside service will take place on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Ahavas Israel Cemetery, 1801 Garfield Ave. NW, north off Richmond St.
