Maxine loved singing, sewing, writing and telling stories, and camping throughout the country with her family and friends. Surviving are her husband of 67 years: Willard J. Haak; four daughters and their families: Karen (Kalvin) Vander Weele and their children: Becki, Gretchen, Jessica (Craig) Burton, Heidi (Waveland) Howe, David (Emma), and Robert; Ann Haak; Jane (Gary) Grant and their children: Emily, Elizabeth and Abigail; Lori (Ken) Hoogstra and their children Leah and Kristen; seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law: Helen Selles and numerous nieces and nephews.
