Maureen Brush

Brush, Maureen Carter 3/18/1942 - 12/13/2016 Crawfordville, FL 74, passed away suddenly in an auto accident on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. She was born in Tampa, FL, on March 18, 1942 to Maurice and Dorothea (Petit-Clerc) Carter. Maureen graduated from both St. Petersburg High School and Florida State University. She loved music of all sorts, especially ragtime. She played percussion and piano and was an avid Scrabble player. Maureen is survived by her children, Beaumont N. Brush and Robert E. Brush III; grandchildren, Isaac, Chloe, and Delaney; brother, Michael Carter; nephew, Darren; and many other cousins and family members. She was predeceased by daughter, Bonnie Maureen; and sisters, Clerc and Carol. There will be a memorial service on Monday, December 19, at 10 AM at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. MLK St N, St. Petersburg 33704.
