Mary Jean Stowe, age 91, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away July 13, 2016 at Alamo Nursing Home. Mary was born on November 29, 1924 in Lansing. The daughter of William & Clara (Splitt) Whitney. Mary was a member of the First Congregational Church and Kalamazoo Stroke Club. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Stowe, and brother Edwin. Mary is survived by three sons, Roger (Sue) Stowe of Louisville, KY; Donn (Dianne) Stowe of Parchment and Jim (Debbie) Stowe of Kalamazoo; one daughter, Linda (Bob) Rimsay of Canada; eighteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday July 15, 2016 from 10 until 11 am at Calvary Bible Church: 855 S. Drake, followed by a memorial service at 11 am with luncheon to follow. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery, Okemos, MI.
