Mary Riefel

Passed away Wednesday December 12, 2018 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. Mary was born November 8, 1942 in New London, CT the daughter of John and Florence (Mosher) Singleton. She was employed for Gibson Guitar, American Axel and then retired from General Motors. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family and will be remembered as a very kind, soft, giving and loving person. Surviving are her life partner, Hank Becerra; sons, Steven and Alan Riefel; step-children, Tony Becerra, Angie Thompson, Mark Becerra; sister, Ina (Terry) Bingham; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Larry Singleton; three sisters, Shirley Courtney, Lillian Blank, Roberta Carter. Friends will be received 12:30 1:30 pm Friday, December 14, 2018 at Redmond Funeral Home, Kalamazoo where services will follow at 1:30. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Kalamazoo Humane Society.
