Mary Olsen

Mary A. Olsen, age 92, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016, in Kalamazoo, MI, with her family at her side. Mary was born in Detroit, MI, on July 20, 1924, the daughter of the late George and Myrtle Symes. She was also preceded in passing by her husband, Odin Olsen, and a son, Mike Olsen. Mary is survived by her only daughter Ginger (Charles) Spaniolo; daughter-in-law, Rdee Olsen; grandchildren, Valerie Johnson and Heather (Rishi) Rawat; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Symes; a sister, Anne Mitchell; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place and a memorial service will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to Rose Arbor Hospice Residence, c/o of Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home.
