Mary Matveia

Mary "Pat" Matveia, age 95, of Tucson, AZ formerly of Kalamazoo passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at her daughter and son-in-law's home in AZ. She was born on March 17, 1920 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of the late Henry and Marvel O'Conner. On July 6, 1940, she was married to Kenneth W. Matveia, who preceded her in death in 1997. Also preceding her in death were one brother and one sister. Surviving are her children: Donna Moses and Charles Glenn Jr of Tucson, AZ, Donald Matveia of Como, CO, and Kenneth and Lee Matveia of Chocowinity, N.C; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 18th at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park Chapel, 3941 S. Westnedge Avenue. A luncheon and fellowship will follow at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street.
