Mary Manos

Mary Jean (Wright) (Cooper) Manos, age 90, of Ludington, MI peacefully passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016 at Spectrum Health of Ludington, with her family by her side. Jean was born on March 12, 1926 in Greenville, MI to the late Lyle and Mary Wright. She attended Greenville Schools and eventually owned and operated a grocery store in Greenville. Her family was her passion in life. She is survived by her children: Tonda Cadey of Ludington, Charles (Luanne) Cooper of Kalamazoo, Joe Cooper of Lansing and Kim Ann (Jerry) Cook of Gowen; step-daughter: Paulette Uhl of Rochester Hills; grandchildren: Tiffany (Eric) Jackson, Jeff Cooper, Josh (Jen) Cooper, Ashley (Matt) Kraynak, Michelle (Eric) Lorge and Dana Beels; great grandchildren: Madison and Mason Jackson, Charlie & Max Cooper, Ryan, Tyler and Drew Lorge, and Sadie & Kennedy Butka; Also, numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Paul Manos; step-daughter: Sister Wanda Manos; sister: Sue (Clifford) Bookey. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Jean's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in Jean's memory to: Community Church; 109 N. Harrison St. Ludington, MI 49431. The family has entrusted Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center to handle her arrangements.
