Surrounded by her loving family, Mary Jane Hush, age 87, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2016 at her residence. Mary was born in Racine, August 5, 1928, daughter of the late John and Margaret (Nee: Viecci) Schiralli.

Mary Jane was employed by Western Publishing for more than fifty years. She served as secretary and treasurer of Local 223 Book Binders. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Vittoria Colonna, and the Racine Yacht Club. An avid golfer and bowler, Mary Jane also enjoyed bocce ball.

Survivors include her daughter Maria Liberty and son-in-law, Jamie Kosterman; her grandchildren, Bobby John “BJ” Hush, Melissa “Missy” Kosterman; her great-grandchildren, George Hush, John Hush, Jeremiah and Elijah Ray; her great-great grandchildren, Josiah, Maison, and Leonardo Hush; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Johnny Bononno, Anthony (Rose) Bononno, Louis Bononno, and Salvator Schiralli.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, July 23, 2016, 10:30 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1533 Erie Street, with Rev. Steve Varghese officiating. Entombment will follow at Calvary Garden Crypts. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. (Vittoria Colonna Service at 6:00 P.M.) and Saturday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until time of Mass at 10:30 A.M. Memorials to St. Joseph Catholic Church have been suggested.
