Mary Jane Eller

Died on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Kairos Dwelling, Age 89. Mary Jane was born in Kalamazoo on July 7, 1929, the daughter of the late Irving and Gertrude (Vervenne) Dushane. She was married to Paul William Eller on July 14, 1951, who preceded her in death on November 10, 2004. She is survived by four children, Sharon (Mike) Merrick of Kalamazoo, Kathy (Scott) Childs of New Hampshire, Gail Hartman of Kalamazoo and Paula (Steve) Cox of Kalamazoo; seventeen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Jean Cunningham; and several nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her beloved and faithful companion, her cat Lucy. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. 12 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., Kalamazoo, MI 49009. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 12 p.m. officiated by Rev. James Dyke. Private interment of cremated remains will take place in Grand Prairie cemetery.
