Mary Jane Brooks, age 67, of Holland, passed away Friday, July 8, 2016, at her home.

She was born in Pineville, KY. Mary Jane was a loving mother to her 4 sons, extended family, and countless friends.

Mary Jane was preceded in death by her father Robert Ealy, Jr. and a brother Frankie Ealy.

Surviving is her husband, Jim Brooks; children, Matthew and Stacy Daniels, Michael and Samantha Daniels, Jimmy and Christine Brooks, and Jonathan Brooks all of Michigan; 18 grandchildren; mother, Joyce Parsley Butler and husband Chris, of Pineville, KY; 12 brothers and sisters, Chester Ealy and wife Sandra; Doris Blanton and husband Chad; Nadine Craig and Frank; Tony Ealy and wife Francine, all of Pathfork, KY; Shirley Caldwell and husband Lawrence of Straight Creek, KY; Ron Ealy, Ohio; Ed Ealy and wife Kim all of Tennessee; Coy Ealy and wife Linda; Willene Moreno and husband Bob, all of Georgia; Mike Ealy and wife Ann of Harlan, KY; Ike Ealy and wife Becky, Michigan; several nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Funeral services will be 11 am Thursday (July 14) at the New Community Fourth Reformed Church, 238 West 15th Street, with the Dr. Jonathan Brownson officiating.

Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 7-9 pm Wednesday (July 13) at the Dykstra Funeral Home-Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mary Jane’s marker fund.
