On September 10, 1946 she was united in marriage to Francis W. Prochaska who preceded her in death in 1982. Mary retired from Jacobson Manufacturing after thirty years of employment. She was a longtime member of St. Mary’s by the Lake Catholic Church. Mary’s pastimes included sewing, quilting, and collecting Precious Moments figurines. More than anything Mary loved playing bingo.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her sons, Francis, William, and James; and brother, George Duda.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, October 6, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary’s by the Lake Catholic Church, 7605 Lakeshore Drive, with Rev. Stephen J. Stradinger officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until time of Mass at 11:00 A.M.
