Mary Gibbs

Mrs. Mary M. Gibbs, age 71, of Kalamazoo, MI went home with the Lord Sunday morning May 14, 2017 with her family by her side. Mary was born November 20, 1945 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Gabert "Gabe" and Irene (Angel) Tolmacs. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Joyce Waldorf; and a brother, John Tolmacs. On September 16, 1967, she was united in marriage to Richard C. Gibbs the love of her life who survives. Also surviving, 3 children, Micheal (Sherry Morse) Gibbs, Ronda Underdah, and Mellisa (Tommy) Gibbs-Skelton all of Kalamazoo; 6 grandchildren, Richard, Abigail, Michael, Johnathan, Brandon, and Serenity; 3 great-grandchildren; a sister, Debbie (Richard) Grosser of Kalamazoo, a brother, Al Tolmacs of Oregon; a special cousin, Marilyn Lindley of Vicksburg; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 11 o'clock Wednesday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Galesburg Chapel, 145 West Battle Creek St. Visitation will be 6-8pm Tuesday at the chapel.
