Mary Cutler

Cutler (Peck), Mary Ellen Portage Mary Ellen Cutler (Peck), age 97, of Portage, MI, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022. Mary was born in New Berry, MI, on June 1, 1925, the daughter of Oscar and Susie (Rabideau) Godin. She worked for Western Michigan University from 1965 until her retirement in 1988. She loved spending time with family. She enjoyed blue grass music, gardening, and was an animal lover. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Peck; her second husband, Walter Burns; and her third husband, Forest Cutler; two sons, Gregory Peck and Kenneth Peck; a daughter-in-law, Audrey Peck; one sister and one brother, Anna Wilson and Clifford Goldin. Mary is survived by one daughter and one son, Linda (Tim) Maneke and Frank Peck; grandchildren, Renee Peck, Gregory Peck, David and Leo Maneke; great-grandchildren; and one sister, Margaret Peterson. Friends may visit with the family from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation Services, 622 S Burdick St, Kalamazoo, MI 49007, where a funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.
