Mary Ann Westhoff

Passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017. Age 81. Mary Ann was born on November 13, 1935 in Eagle, MI, the daughter of the late Dennis O'Connor and Anna Braska O'Connor. She retired from the Michigan Lottery, where she worked as an Administrative Assistant. She was a Master Gardener. She enjoyed photography and watching the birds in her yard. She is survived by her loving husband of twenty seven years, Richard Skidmore; children, Bill (Melany) Westhoff, Patti Ketelaar, Jerry (Laura) Westhoff, Rick (Jackie) Westhoff, Mary Jo (Tony) Baweja; and Trent (Teresa) Skidmore; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dennis O'Connor and James (Lee) O'Connor; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Thompson-Olsen. Friends may visit with the family from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., Kalamazoo, MI 49009. The funeral service will be held at the funeral chapel at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 25, 2017, officiated by Rev. Greg Carlson. Memorial contributions may be given to D.A.V.
