Martha Simmons

Simmons, Martha J. Mrs. Martha J. Simmons of Bloomingdale, MI, died Feb 9, 2021, after a short illness. Martha was born in Kalamazoo, MI, and grew up in Alamo Township. She was married to David Simmons in 2004. She was preceded in death by her parents Felix (1964) and Jeannette Grabowski (2001) and sisters Barbara (1950), Ann (1951), Mary (2016), and brothers John (1999) and Michael (2002). She is survived by her husband David Michael Simmons, and children, Sherrie (Stoughton) Hall, Amy and Rick Yarbrough, Stacy Pasley, and David Frank Simpson. Her involvements included caring for her several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews of her extended family. Surviving brothers and sisters: Edward and Mary Grabowski; Jean and Leighton Dobbin; Patricia Grisso; Joseph and Eydie Grabowski; James and Margie Grabowski; David Grabowski; Carol Gibbons. Cremation has occurred. A memorial service will be held on a later date.
