Mark Stevens

Mark John Stevens, 93, of Merritt Island, FL passed away Tuesday, August 25 after a long illness. Mark was born in Kalamazoo, MI on May 3rd, 1922 to Clare and Mary (Gemberling) Stevens. He joined the Army Air Corp during WWII and became a Staff Sergeant. He served as a Flight Engineer on B-17 and B-29 In the European and Pacific Theaters and received two (2) Bronze Stars. Mark retired from National Water lift and moved to Merritt Island, FL. Mark is survived by his wife Beatrice and his 5 children; Stanley (Jean) Stevens of Lexington,TN, Donald (June) Stevens of Otsego, MI, Suzanne (Dennis) Kiewiet of Bangor, MI, Loralee Stevens of Marshall, MI, Thomas Stevens of Otsego, MI; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
