Mark Mrozek

Mrozek, Mark Anthony Vienna, VA Mark Mrozek of Vienna, Virginia passed away at home on October 13, 2016 at the age of 69 after a courageous battle with cancer. Mark leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Donna; daughter Sarah Pica (Joe); granddaughter Katherine and his older sister, Pam Blakeman (Bruce). He was the son of the late Tony and Irene Mrozek of Climax, Michigan. He graduated from University High School in Kalamazoo and Mark held degrees from the University of Michigan and George Washington University. After serving in the Army during the Vietnam war, he had a successful career in hospital administration for 35 years. During his ten year retirement he enjoyed traveling, sailing, church and community activities, watching Nationals baseball, spending time with his family and friends and reading in the gazebo with the dog. A funeral service will be held at St. Mark Church in Vienna on Saturday, Oct 22 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Inova Schar Cancer Institute, Designation Cancer Research.
