Mark E. Kirchenwitz

Mark Emil Kirchenwitz, age 65, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017, at Froedtert Hospital. He was born in Racine, June 1, 1951, son of Sidney and Ivy (Nee: Learned) Kirchenwitz.

He attended Trinity Lutheran Grade School and graduated from Wm Horlick High School “Class of 1969” He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1969 – 1989 including two tours in Vietnam. Mark was employed by F& F Tire and Midas Muffler retiring in 2008. Always competitive and a good athlete, Mark enjoyed golfing, bowling, basketball, and playing pool. He will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his longtime partner of 28 years, Susan Herling; his father, Sidney of Tucson AZ; siblings, Cindy David of Racine, Kirk Kirchenwitz and Kim Kirchenwitz of Tucson, Craig (Jodi) Kirchenwitz of Minocqua; sister-in-law, Diane (Milo) Milojevic; nieces and nephews, Heather (Fred) Rausch, Sean David, Adam Kirchenwitz, Jordan (Amber) Milojevic, Zach Kirchenwitz (fiancée Liz), Alicyn Kirchenwitz, Mile Milojevic (fiancée Amber); 8 grandnieces; good buddy, Fritz;other relatives and dear friends including his canine buddies Kaylee and Diego. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ivy and his wife Beverly.

Funeral Services followed by Full Military Honors will be held at the funeral home, Sunday, April 9, 2017, 4:00 p.m. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Sunday 2-4 P.M. Private interment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park.
