Marion R. Zirbes

Marion Zirbes, age 88, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018, in Kenosha. She was born in Racine August 26, 1929 the daughter of the late Sigurd and Agnes (Nee: Have) Martinsen. Marion graduated from Horlick High School in the Class of 1947. Marion has had to face many adversities throughout her life. To those who knew her, Marion will always be remembered as a gentle soul. May she rest in peace.

Surviving are her daughter, Elizabeth (Mark) Oliver of Vancouver, WA; grandchildren, Moira and John Oliver; sister, Lois (William) Lamb of Sarasota, FL; sister-in-law, Nancy Martinsen of Glenview, IL; nieces, nephews, and many friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her stepfather Louis P. Pfeiffer, her loving daughter Sara, of Portland, OR, and her caring brother James S. Martinsen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Clairidge House, 1519 60th St., Kenosha, WI 53140

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the nurses and staff at Clairidge House for their heartfelt care of Marion for many years.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
