Marilyn Teter

Marilyn Lois Teter, 82, of Traverse City went to her Lord and Savior on June 5, 2014.

Born, February 21, 1932 in Ann Arbor the daughter of Louis and Dorothy (Davis) Miley.

She is survived by her husband, William V. Teter of Traverse City; they were married on June 3, 1950 in Dearborn, Michigan; children, Denise Y. Broderick of Traverse City and William M. (Leonie) Teter of Maryland; 6 grandchildren; Thomas (Dana) Broderick, Natasha (Chris) Brown, William ( Francis) Teter Jr. Nicholas Teter, Matt (Heather) Defer and Tyler Defer and great-grandchildren, Sydney, Brock, and Reece Broderick, Imani and Ian Brown, Evonia Teter and Autumn L. Defer and dearest life-long and best friend, Elaine Stevens.

Preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Deborah Defer and siblings, Barbara Porter and Richard Miley.

She was a homemaker. She loved all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. She liked yard work and housekeeping.
