Marilyn Pauline Barber, age 77, of Gobles, went home to be with her Lord, January 26, 2020. She was born June 7, 1942 to Jesse and Marion Winne. Marilyn married her true love, David Barber, September 8, 1962 and was a loving and devoted mother of three daughters. In 1989 Marilyn and her husband David started Barber Packaging Company in Bangor. Marilyn taught Sunday School for many years, enjoyed riding horses, golfing with friends and family, reading and being outdoors. In everything, Marilyn lived her life for the Lord. Surviving are her three daughters, Janet (Randy) Sauer, Susan Rall and Diane (Chris) Cairns; grandchildren, Alex (Meghan), Leslie (Victor), Nicole (Nathan), Lindsey (Todd), Nolan, Hannah, Allison (Brian), Laura, Katie, Taylor, Ashley; great grandchildren, Ezekiel, Evelyn, Carlina, Elaina, Ben, Grady, Miles, Desi; a sister, Judy Meyer; sisters-in-law, Sherry Winne, Dale (Daryll) Ray-Snyder, Sue Barber, Cynthia Straka, Sharon (Joe) George, Rosanne (Steve) Adams; brothers-in law, Robert (Sandi) Barber, Paul (Marilyn) Barber, Tim (Kim) Barber, Philip (Angie) Barber, Wayne (Linda) Taylor; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, David; father and mother, Jesse and Marion Winne; twin sister, Carolyn Buck; brother, Dick Winne; sister-in-law, Elaine Taylor; brothers-in-law, Steve Barber, Jim Ray and Greg Straka. The family will meet friends Thursday, January 30, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Bloomingdale Christian Church where funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM, brother-in-law Wayne Taylor officiating. Interment Robinson Cemetery, Bloomingdale Township, MI. The family suggests memorials to the Bloomingdale Christian Church for Missions. Arrangements by the Bloomingdale Chapel, D. L.
