Marillyn G. Davis, aged 87 of Grand Rapids, passed away on Monday evening, May 23, 2016 at St. Ann’s Home. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Jack Davis, her son Stanley Davis, and her sister, Barbara Comulada. She is survived by her sons, Steve (Lou Anne) Davis, Tom Davis; her grandson, Andrew (Kristin) Davis and their children, Wesley, Elliot and Dexter, granddaughter Abigayle Davis and her children, Harper and Reed Samuels, granddaughter, Emily Davis; special family member, Aleksey Mastilenko; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews and friends. Marillyn was a longtime member of Park Church. She was an avid bridge player and loved her gardening. She was a loving and dedicated, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and a friend to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Ann’s Home and Emmanuel Hospice for the love and care shown to Marillyn and her family these past months. Cremation has taken place. A service to celebrate Marillyn’s life will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home – 2120 Lake Michigan Dr. NW. Relatives and friends may meet her family at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 – 8:00 pm, and again on Saturday from 10:00 am until the service begins at 11:00 am. Contributions in her memory may be made to Park Church Deacons Fund or a charity of your choice.
