Marie York

Marie (Janet) York at the young age of 67, passed away Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015 at 9 pm comfortable in bed at home after a long battle with a number of serious health issues. She lost her battle with COPD. She was born and raised in Kalamazoo MI and has lived in Monticello KY for the last four years. After becoming very sick she moved in with her youngest daughter Angel Where she enjoyed her Man (JJ) Gerald Jones and family. My mom was the strongest women I will ever know! She Loved her Man, Family, her dog Ziggy who passed away four months prier, and her dog Little Man Fred. She loved all her collections and all her travels. She was a free spirit. She loved butterflies, Plants and nature. Her parents Velma and Richard York (1974) and Sister Bonnie Britten (2005) will be welcoming her into the light. She leaves behind The love of her life (JJ) Gerald Jones. Her four Children Paula York of FL, Jeanette Fink of SC, Paul R White of MI and Angela Harrold of FL, three Living sisters Shirley Freed of MI, Dorothy York of MI, Judy Schultz of MI and 10 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren that are all going to feel her presence and Love and Miss her greatly. A life celebration will be held in FL on Sunday at Noon, Oct 11, 2015 and in MI tentatively on Sunday Oct 18 (sorry no set time or place yet). any condolences or ashes request can be sent to JJ (Gerald Jones) and Angel Harrold at 15245 Mottled Owl Rd, Weeki Wachee, FL 34614.
