Marie Rydzewski

Marie Helen Rydzewski, age 84, died peacefully on Friday August 14, 2015 at Point Lookout Nursing and Rehab in Hollister, Missouri after a brief struggle with cancer. Marie was born February 10, 1931, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Joseph A. Rogman and Helen V. Skrocki. In 1951, Marie eloped with and married the love of her life Frank John Rydzewski. John was a pharmacist, and Marie was his partner at Mills Med Pharmacy in Melvindale for many years. She was the loving mother of Robert (Diane), Lauren (Doug) Wilson, and Steven (Doris). A proud grandmother, she was adored and cherished by her 6 grandchildren, Andrew, Christa, Nicholas, Matthew, David and Daniel. The family will receive friends at Neely-Turowski Life Story Funeral Home, 45100 Warren Road, Canton, (between Sheldon and Canton Center Rds) on Sunday August 23 from 2-8 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, 10:30 am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 44800 Warren Road, Canton, instate 10:00 am until mass begins. Interment will be at St. Hedwig Cemetery.
