Marie Ann Zerzanek, age 87, passed away Friday, February 5, 2016 at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Medical Center. She was born in Racine, November 12, 1928, daughter of the late August and Johanna Duray.

On July 15, 1950 at St. Joseph’s Church she was united in marriage to Robert C. Zerzanek. Marie was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, painting, and fishing. She took great pride in her garden and will fondly be remembered working her vegetable stand. She will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her husband, Bob; nieces and nephews, Judith (Frank) Tomachek, Kathy (David) Horvath, Dan (Barb) Zerzanek, Randy (Tara) Zerzanek, Greg (Zana) Zerzanek, Leslie (Bart) Stefani; other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Rudolph and Mary Zerzanek, nephew, Rudy Zerzanek and niece, Linda Christensen.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 13, 2016, 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1533 Erie Street, with Reverend Steve Varghese officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. and on Saturday at the church 9:30 A.M. until time of Mass. Memorials to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church have been suggested.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Brenda Schuls and Marie Andreucci for their kindness through the years.
