Margit Gergye

Margit Gergye, age 92, of Kalamazoo, MI, passed away at her grandson's home in New Hudson, Michigan on Sunday, October 4, 2015. Margit was born in Derecske, Hungary on October 18, 1922 to the late Sandor and Roza (Trippo) Iklodi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sandor Gergye, Sr., who she married on October 4, 1947; son Sandor Gergye, Jr. and siblings, Sandor, Laos, Roza and Jozsef Iklodi. Margit is survived by her grandsons, Andy S. Gergye and Thomas J. (Angela) Gergye. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Annabel, Xander, Allison, Jessica and Grayson. A funeral service will be held at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home on Friday, October 9, 2015 beginning at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to The Wounded Warrior Project, c/o of the funeral home.
