Margery Phillips

Margery G. Phillips, 96, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 16, 2018. Margery was born January 6, 1922 in Prairieview, IL to the late Lloyd and Bertha (Holtje) Ritzenthaler. Margery was united in marriage to Edward Phillips, Jr., on March 6, 1943. He preceded her in death in October of 1990. She was also preceded in death by her two sons Edward Phillips III and Ronald Lee Phillips. Margery was a charter member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Naperville, IL. She enjoyed puzzles, reading, calling bingo, dominoes and pinochle and was proud to be a newborn knitter. She was grateful for her many friends at Friendship Village. Margery is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Frank) Hepp; grandchildren, Marcy, Jay and Jennifer; 7 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister. No visitation or services are scheduled at this time. A committal service in Naperville Cemetery, Naperville, IL will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
