Margaret Watson

Watson, Margaret Jane 4/15/1955 - 9/26/2016 Kalamazoo Margaret Jane Watson 61, of Kalamazoo passed away at Rose Arbor Hospice on September 26th,2016 from complications due to cancer. Margaret was born in East Jordan, Michigan on April 15th, 1955. The daughter of Harry and Phoebe Watson. After graduation from high school, She attended Ferris State University for her Bachelors Degree and Western Michigan University for her Masters in Library Science. Margaret worked one year as a librarian in Oneida ,NY. and (25+ years) at Western Michigan University. At various times she taught media classes, consulted on classroom tech projects, and was responsible for maintaining classroom technology. At all times she enjoyed being surrounded by students, staff, and faculty; many of whom became lifelong friends. Aunt Mar-mar as she was called by her nephews and nieces enjoyed family,friends, traveling,movies, and an occasional bad joke now and then. One of her favorite places to be was the family home in East Jordan. She is survived by family and many friends all of whom Margaret felt were the most important part of her rich full life . Per Margaret's wishes there will be no formal service.
