Margaret passed away Friday evening, October 18, 2019 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. She is the daughter of James E. McNally and Mary Ellen Harrison. Margaret was a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo. She graduated from Comstock High School and attended KVCC. She worked most her career as a forklift driver. She loved her work and was a dedicated employee. She loved to fish and gamble. She also loved to travel, taking cruises and road trips with family and/or friends. Margaret will be missed by many and her memory will be cherished for years to come. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Nettie V. McCormack, father James E. McNally, stepmother Phyllis Ann McNally, brother Steven J. McNally, stepson David Phares and so many more. She is survived by her significant other, Jim Moyer, mother Mary Ellen Harrison, stepmother Brenda McNally, her children: Robert(Nancy)McNally, Anita(Larry)Phares, John(Cat)Phares and Ella Johnson. Her siblings: Ronnie(Dave)Morabito, Laura McNally, Dolores(Pete)Kalb, Larry(Dave)McNally, Jim(Betty)McNally and Tina(Tim)Johnson. Also are many grandchildren, 4 great grandsons whom brought her much love and joy, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom she loved dearly. November 2, 2019 at 12 noon, there will be a celebration of life service at St. Andrews Community Church, 3631 Covington near Wings stadium with Pastor Jim Dyke officiating and followed by a luncheon at the Comstock VFW 6252, E. Michigan Ave., where she was a longtime member. Let's celebrate Margaret's life and honor her passing. She will live in our hearts and minds for eternity. Cremation was handled by Whitley Funeral Home.
