Margaret Edwards

Margaret R. Edwards, age 94, of Allegan, MI passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at Allegan County Medical Care Community. Mrs. Edwards was born on June 24, 1921, in Galesburg, the daughter of Leon and Ivy (Pryor) Counterman. Margaret loved to read and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her three children: Betty McDaniel, Judith Sandefur and Linda Warner; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; five great, great grandchildren; one brother: Arthur Counterman; two sisters: Leah Janke, Lois and Leonard Bush; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Margaret was preceded in death by three husbands: Floyd Fales, Donald Belden and Glenn Edwards; one son: Robert L. Fales; three sisters: Earline Wiley, Betty Hewitt and Ann Woodhams. Friends may meet with the family at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, on Saturday, November 21 from 4-5 pm, where the service will be held at 5 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Allegan County Medical Care Community, 3265 122nd Avenue, Allegan, MI 49010. Arrangements are being made by Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
