Margaret Aiello, age 95, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Sheridan Medical Complex, Kenosha. Margaret was born April 6, 1920 in Racine, WI, daughter of the late Fortunato and Maria DeRose.

On June 20, 1942 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Mike R. Aiello who preceded her in death, January 29, 1999. She was a longtime active member of St. Lucy Catholic Church. An exceptional cook and baker, Margaret devoted and loved spending time with her family.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Patricia Holt of Somers, WI, Michael Aiello of Vadnais Heights, MN; 2 grandsons, Christopher Holt of Hatfield, WI, William Holt of Fountain Hills, AZ; sister, Emma Braun of Racine; special friend, Barbara Drennan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by twin daughters, Rosemary and Mary Ann; son-in-law, Alan Holt; sisters and brother, Emilia (John) Gallo, Anthony (Mary) DeRose, Lena (Jim) Carravetta, Charlotte Fojtik, Julia Richter, Rose Biro; brother-in-law, Richard Braun; and special cousin, Josephine Cannaday.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, January 16, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at St. Lucy’s Catholic Church, 3101 Drexel Ave, with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. Private entombment will be held at Holy Cross Garden Mausoleum, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family, Saturday at the church from 9:30 A.M. until time of Mass at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Lucy Catholic Church have been suggested.

A very special thank you to her caregivers at Sheridan Medical Complex for their loving and compassionate care.
