Marcia Van Hekken

Marcia Van Hekken, age 81, of Holland passed away Friday, June 12, 2015.

Marcia was born in Holland, MI to Bernard and Ella (Kuipers) Vande Water.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Seniors on the Go Group, and the BASF Retirees Lunch Bunch.

Marcia is survived by her children, Tamela Van Hekken, Terry and Elaine Van Hekken, and Tracy and Mark Hamstra; Grandchildren, Elizabeth and Christopher Leiby, Benjamin Bradfield and fiancée Elyssa Vandermolen, Steven Hamstra, and Melanie Hamstra; aunts and uncle, Eugene and Lucelle Kuipers and Joyce Kuipers; and many cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Funeral services will be 10 am Wednesday, June 17, at the Dykstra Funeral Home-Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street, with the Rev. J. Lynn Pier-Fitzgerald officiating.

Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.

Visitation will be 7-9 pm Tuesday, June 16, at the Dykstra Funeral Home-Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial to Hospice of Holland, Harbor Humane Society, or Best Friends Animal Society.
