Marcia Faye Hall, age 70, passed away Thursday morning, January 10, 2019 in Kalamazoo. She was born on February 24, 1948 in Owosso, MI a daughter of William and Mae Silvers. Marcia lived a life committed to family and serving others through ministry. A wife of 50-years, mother of two, grandmother to 5 boys, a volunteer, and child of Christ, she embodied a Servant's Heart. Marcia worked as a judicial assistant for the 9th Circuit Court in Kalamazoo for 25 years before retiring in 2004. Marcia attended The River Church and volunteered with Caring Network. She was an avid reader and learner throughout her life who loved to share without thought of return. Marcia was preceded in death by her father. On June 20, 1969, Marcia married Douglas Hall, who survives. Also surviving are two children, Hilary (Jason) Gumbis of Kalamazoo and Andrew (Mandi) Hall of Fishers, IN; five grandsons; mother, Mae Fiedler; two sisters, Janet (Wes) Shooks and Rhea (Terry) Walker; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6pm Sunday, January 13th at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street where services will be held at 10:30 Monday morning, January 12th, with Pastor Rob Link and Rev. Phil Stout officiating. Marcia's family will receive guests following the service during a reception at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held in Ft. Custer National Cemetery at 2pm. Those wishing to attend the graveside service should be in the cemetery's assembly area by 1:50pm. Memorials may be directed to Caring Network or to Jesus Loves Kalamazoo.
