Mamie O'Bryan

Mamie E. O'Bryan of Portage, Age 92, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017. Mamie was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on August 15, 1925; the daughter of the late William H. and Emily I. Jeffers. On August 9, 1950, Mamie married George E. O'Bryan, who preceded her in death on August 4, 2017. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ginny Jeffers, and Dorothy Hauck; and her brother Jeff Jeffers. Mamie is survived by her sons, Mark (Joan) and Michael O'Bryan; daughter, Carol Ann Bolin; grandchildren, Amy (Sean) Hayes, Luke O'Bryan, Kristine (James) Miller and Whitney and Olivia Bolin; great-grandson, L.J. Miller; and sister in-law, Donna (Ron) Holmes. A memorial service will take place on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 1:30 PM at St. Thomas More Catholic Parish, 421 Monroe St. Kalamazoo, MI 49006, with refreshments afterwards. Interment will be held at Ft. Custer National Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels, c/o the funeral home. Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home
