Maddox I. "Max" Burnham, age 9, of Kalamazoo, MI sprinted into Heaven Monday morning December 25, 2017. Max was born February 27, 2008 in Kalamazoo, Michigan the son of Scott and Brandy (Baker) Burnham. Max was a fighter since the day he was born. He had an infectious smile and a feisty sense of humor. He was loved by everyone who met him, and he had a special way to charm the ladies. Max loved baseball, dogs, spiders, piggies, and Spiderman. He loved all things boyish such as anything gross, bugs, playing tricks on people, and fart noises. His smile and laughter could brighten up anyone's day. Although he had physical challenges, he was intelligent and tenacious. His determination and bravery shined through every challenge he faced. He attended WoodsEdge Learning Center and played baseball for the Challenger League in Milwood. For a more complete picture of Max's life, visit his Mighty Max page at https://www.facebook.com/Mighty-Max-155559809991. He is survived by his parents; a sister, Victoria "Gracie" Burnham at home; his maternal grandparents, Kevin & Ritta Baker of Peru, IN; and his paternal grandparents, Dennis & Cindy Burnham of Kalamazoo; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He had countless girlfriends around town but had a special connection with his friends Ruby and Kai. He had numerous therapists, doctors, nurses, case managers, and other professionals who became attached to him over the years. He was loved so dearly, and we all rejoice that he has been made whole! A memorial service celebrating Max's Life will be held 12 noon Friday at Centerpoint Church, 2345 N. 10th St. Friends may meet the family 2 hours prior to the service at the church. Private burial will take place at a later date. Memorials may be directed to Max's Go Fund Me Account at ttps://www.gofundme.com/mighty-maxs-celebration-of-life.
