Lynne M. Kirk, age 66, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, June 16, 2017. Lynne was born in Racine, July 31, 1950 daughter of the late Robert C. and Lucille (Nee: Glovka) Wagner.

Lynne was a graduate of Washington Park High School “Class of 1968”. Furthering her education she graduated from UW-Parkside, and earned her Master’s degree from Cardinal Stritch University. Lynne first taught at Crestview Elementary and then expanded the minds of many young students at Wadewitz Elementary School for over thirty-five years, retiring in 2012. Following retirement, she taught English as a second language to adults at College of Lake County. She was a member of the REA and NAMI. A free spirit and product of the sixties, Lynne loved music, dancing, concerts and her travels around the world. She also enjoyed her flower garden, but above all, it was her family that gave her the most joy.

She will be missed dearly by her children, Christiaan (Robin) Kirk of St. Charles, IL, Andrew (Krissie) Kirk of Delafield; her grandsons, Miles and Maxwell; brother, Kenneth (Melissa) Wagner of Western Springs, IL; aunts and uncles, Betty (Radley) Hyde of Medford, OR, Joyce (Carl) Juergens of Milwaukee, Melvin Underwood of Kewanee, IL, Charlotte (Richard) Danniger of Columbus, OH; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, James.

A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 24, 2017, 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Tony Larsen officiating. Private interment will be held. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m..
