Lynett Stacey

Stacey, Lynett Jean 6/14/1949 - 1/31/2019 Lynett Jean Stacey (Whitehurst), 69, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, departed to be face to face with the Lord on Thursday, January 31, 2019. She is currently reunited with family that had predeceased her. Lynett predeceases her one true love, two children, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two sisters, her one very best friend and many other family members and friends. She loved to share many things and her love for both family and friends was endless, up to the very end. Anyone who knew her, knew how she was a beloved "Foodie" and sharing those special recipes, tips or tricks to food preparation was truly her favorite pastime. She had a phenomenal memory and her unsurpassed knowledge of family history and relationships as well as food and medical terminology is the stuff of legend. Once she knew the details, she never forgot them. She will be greatly missed by all she has known and has left behind. A "Celebration of her life" will be held at the Country Inn and Suites conference room at 1912 E Kilgore Road, Kalamazoo, MI, 49002 on Saturday March 16th, 2019 between Noon and 3pm. An informal service will start promptly at 12:30 p.m. Some appetizers and drinks will be available in the conference room but if you wish to bring a dish, a table will be set up for those dishes. Please ensure they are pre-heated and in disposable containers as there will be no cleaning services available. Please bring copies of photos to share with everyone, a table will be set up to display those and Daniel Jr. will collect them, digitize them and make a digital DVD of them to share with anyone interested. There will also be a guestbook for all to sign. No flowers please, if anyone wishes to contribute to offset the costs of the funeral and any probate charges in the distribution of Lynett's estate, please email Daniel Jr. at (estacda@gmail.com) to make arrangements.
