Lucian J. Scruggs

Surrounded by his loving family, Lucian J. Scruggs, age 80, passed away peacefully, Sunday, March 6, at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. He was born January 16, 1936 in Nashville, TN, to the late Charles and Christine Scruggs.

Survivors include his wife, Eileen; son, Patrick; daughters, Kathleen and Diana; grandchildren, Tabitha and Brian; brother, Charles (Carolyn); and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister.

His gift was raising two grandchildren. Lucian was employed for thirty years at AMC/Chrysler as a Cost Analyst.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 11, 2016, 10:30 A.M. at St. Lucy Catholic Church, 3101 Drexel Avenue, with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the church from 9:30 A.M. until time of Mass at 10:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Lucy’s School have been suggested.
