LuAnn graduated from Michigan State University, where she earned her degree in accounting, then worked for the Department of Treasury Kalamazoo office for thirty-three years, retiring in 2011. An avid quilter, LuAnn helped make dozens of quilts for the New Hope Fellowship Quilting Ministry and for her family. She loved baking and gardening and sharing her delicious baked goods and plants with friends and family. She was very active in her church and a constant giver, willing to help anyone who needed it. She absolutely loved her grandchildren and caring for them, taking them on trips and spoiling them like grandmothers do.
