Louise Geske

GESKE – Mrs. Louise M. Geske, age 89, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald in 1991; brother, Bill; and sister-in-law, Mary. Louise is survived by her three sons, Don (Linda) Geske Jr., Dan (LuAnn) Geske, Tom (Nancy) Geske; eight grandchildren, Stephanie (Jake) Weaver, Steven (Lisa) Geske, Jennifer (Chris) Slagter, Kimberly (Matt) Becker, Sarah (Jeremy) Pettenger, Lisa (Ryan) Doss, Andrew (Stacy) Geske, Alex Geske and fiancé Catherine Adams; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Rev. Charles Bueche CSsR, Janice (Peter) Chan, Sr Helen Bueche OP., Ken (Rose) Bueche; many nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, August 6, 2015, 11:00 AM at St Alphonsus Catholic Church, 224 Carrier St. NE, Grand Rapids. Friends may visit with Louise’s family on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at The Heritage Life Story Funeral Home – Alt & Shawmut Hills Chapel, 2120 Lake Michigan Dr. NW, Grand Rapids where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM. Visitation also at the church one hour prior to the Mass. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be directed to the Dominican Sisters or to the Redemptorist Priests.
