Lois Magierka

Age 89, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at her home. Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, George, in 2014; and son, Greg, in 2011. She is survived by her children, Ron (Susan Kott) Magierka of Zeeland and Margaret (Richard) Vanleeuwen of Sarasota, Florida; daughter-in-law, Brenda Magierka of Mattawan; six grandchildren, Anthony Millek III, Jenna Bowers, Bryan Magierka, Amanda Magierka, Timothy Magierka and Danielle Vanderslik; nine great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Lois' interests included baking, sewing, knitting, tending to her flower gardens and spoiling her cats, Snoopy and Princess and many other pets through the years. She participated in Curves and enjoyed mowing her lawn with her riding mower. The Magierka family would like to thank their extended family; especially Patty and Jim Dyer; the staff at Bronson Hospital; in-home care from Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan; best friend, Teri Brown and Lois' many friends for the love and care they showed to her over the past three years. Cremation has taken place and Lois will be buried in a private service at Maple Grove Cemetery in Antwerp Township.
