Lois Alberti

Alberti, Lois C. Lois C. Alberti, 97, of Terre Haute, IN and formerly of Kalamazoo, MI passed away Wednesday morning, December 21, 2016 at Westminster Village Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was an Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. Lois enjoyed playing bridge, reading, sewing, gardening and spending time with her family. She was born June 1, 1919 in Chicago, IL to Adolph and Christine Weiser. Her husband, Joseph Alberti, preceded her in death. Survivors include her three daughters, Christine Schellenberg of Terre Haute, Mary Byers (Ted) of Ann Arbor, MI and Ruth Lindholm (Ralph) of Holland, MI; eight grandchildren, Ryan (Misti), Robin (Jeff), Sarah, Matthew (Ina), Stephen, Amy, Frank (Glennia) and Robert; nine great-grandchildren, Grace, Abigail, Elyse, Andrew, Nate, Zane, Jack, Logan and Alex; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Lois was also preceded in death by her brother, Adolph "Bud"; and two sisters, Rose and Ruth. Lois was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church of Terre Haute, IN. Private Graveside Services will be conducted at Mount Ever-Rest Memorial Park South in Kalamazoo, MI. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, Terre Haute.
